CALL FOR FUTURE PAPERS: GLOBAL MEDIA JOURNAL
AUSTRALIAN EDITION
Our two issues in 2007 will reflect the substantial engagement with community and grassroots media at the OURMedia 6 Conference. The conference took place from April 10 – 13 in Sydney, Australia. We welcome papers and presentations from any participants in the conference for both our refereed academic section or non-refereed commentary section.
The OURMedia 6 website outlines the themes of the conference with these framing questions:
How do we understand the future of community and alternative cultural production and how can we ensure a sustainable future for community and alternative media practices?
We look forward to working with authors who wish to publish their work in the Australian edition of Global Media Journal - an on-line networked journal with links to several other editions in multiple languages.
